I don’t think there’s one event or program that can’t benefit from good graphic design … even something as cheesy as a High School Reunion. If I’m involved in something, I’m going to take it seriously and I’m not going to compromise by letting some hack party planner pollute the event with a clip-art designed invitation.
For this illustration, I channeled my inner Michael Schwab to create an iconic image of my historic High School (one of the oldest in the bay area) that has been embraced by subsequent classes beyond just mine. I’m convinced that the 150+ person turnout was at least partially because of this attention to detail.
